The CaseGuide Story
Supervisory Special Agent (Ret.) Craig Ackley retired from the FBI after serving two decades with the “Bureau.” Craig begins consulting to major cases, predominately to state and federal prosecution teams.
Craig hires a software company to codify his case handling process, and the standalone version of CaseGuide is created. Craig improves his efficiency an estimated 70%!
On a joint client engagement, Craig meets Bart Holzer. Together, they work with the developers to upgrade CaseGuide to multi-user functionality. CaseGuide is configured and deployed via the Cloud using Amazon AppStream.
Recognizing that a fully functional cloud-version of CaseGuide will require an extensive redesign and reimplementation, planning for developing CaseGuide as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application begins. Key considerations by the team include: replicating the existing CaseGuide functionality, scalability, collaboration, and security.
Compendia, Inc. formed as parent company and Version 1.0 of the CaseGuide in the cloud is released into production.
